READ (Research for Educational Assistance and Development) is a registered non-profit founded in 2009. With a focused approach spanning education, women's empowerment, skill development, emergency disaster relief, and healthcare, READ has made a measurable impact on communities throughout Pakistan.
Our journey started when a teenager made a failed attempt to take her own life because she had not eaten for days. We reacted quickly, paid her medical expenses, and she was saved. That moment defined our purpose โ we have never stopped since.
